Established in 2009 Aidan Thompson Consulting Ltd delivers both professional Executive Search services and Competency Based Assessment & Business Consultancy Services, with a number of tangible, client led innovations in the way these services are priced and delivered.

Specialising in the Industrial, Manufacturing, Medical, Consumer and B2B Services markets, working in tandem with clients from FTSE 250 plc to SME, in the UK and across Europe. I operate both in the senior market between £70,000 and £150,000 and in the mid-level £30,000 to £70,000 range.

Specialties: I have successfully transacted assignments across disciplines in multiple Industrial / B2B markets, including Engineered Products and Components, PPE, Business Services, Waste Management, Industrial Manufacturing, Logistics / Distribution and Metals & Mining. I also have wide-ranging experience in multiple consumer markets in both Branded and “own label” sectors.

Investing my time in understanding a client business and the people involved, I provide a genuine partnership, absolute clarity of process and real value for investment. This is combined with a commitment to support your business beyond the point that a hire is made, by offering a 360 degree performance and integration review as part of my process.

An assessment programme can a “one off” for a specific team / peer group or can be part of a longer-term development process across multiple functions.

Assessments are done face-to-face in an interview style, computer programmes have a place in the management of human beings but nothing replaces the personal touch when it comes to people centred issues such as objective assessment.
