The ideal candidate will possess an Honours or Masters Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, the physical sciences, or a related field. A full UK driving licence with a clean driving record is essential, and professional chartership(s) will be highly regarded.

Experience and Expertise:

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas, preferably gained in a consultancy role:

- Environmental Permitting: Expertise in the Industrial Emissions Directive and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., PPC/EPR/IPC), along with experience liaising with regulatory bodies such as SEPA, EA, NIEA, and EPA.

- Air Quality Assessment: Proficiency in conducting impact assessments using methodologies like D1, H1, and the CERC (e.g., ADMS) suite of software.

- Pollution Control: Experience in specifying water and air pollution control strategies and technologies, with a strong understanding of Best Available Techniques (BAT).

- Industrial Wastewater Treatment: Experience in supporting the design and implementation of industrial wastewater treatment solutions.

- Water Management: Skills in conducting water efficiency audits for industrial and commercial facilities, as well as expertise in resource efficiency and waste minimisation.

- Environmental Noise Assessment: Knowledge of assessing environmental noise for industrial and commercial facilities (via BS 4142) and construction/development projects (via BS 5228).

- Hydrology and Flood Risk Assessment: Experience in hydrology, including conducting comprehensive flood risk assessments.
