My client is looking for an ambitious and passionate Drainage Engineer to work on projects on multiply projects and be the lead for the clients to contact. My client are known for their support of employees, training and development of careers and look to support the individual to develop a well-rounded professional.

The Drainage Engineer complements their existing team of engineers and technicians, specialising in the provision of a full design service and advice on all aspects of highways and drainage and matters relating to exploring exciting new business opportunities arising predominantly through our client contacts. You will have to be technically strong senior civil engineer with a broad range of experience in all aspects of civil engineering, in particular site development and water sectors, with the skills and enthusiasm to take on an important key technical and managerial role, to help grow the infrastructure team.

You would be looking to have experience in :

* Liaise with client's office and architects, suppliers and contractors to deal with technical queries
* Attending and contributing to project meetings (internal and external)
* Working with the technician team to prepare and produce drawings
* Producing reports and correspondence
* Resolution of site queries
* Site inspections and surveys
* To draft and plan residential housing estate engineering layouts, detailing construction of Roads and drainage to serve developments
* Managed and communicate with authorities to secure Section 38 and 104 Agreements
* Prepare off-site road improvement schemes and liaise with Local Authorities to secure Section 278 Agreements
* Be up to date with the latest analysis and design software i.e. Microdrainage, Autodesk and/ or Microstation, GIS and river modelling analysis packages.
