Are you an ambitious EIA Project Manager looking for a new challenge?  If this is you, my client has a great opportunity for you to join them in their Central Bristol office.

My client works on a wide range of projects in the UK marketplace offering multidisciplinary services for planning support and engineering design.  The business has steadily grown over the past 50 years and has progressively diversified its market offering to meet the emerging needs of their clients and the industry.

You will be joining a busy and diverse environmental consulting team which is fully embedded into the multi-disciplinary business across the company.  Their EIA projects include major residential and mixed-use schemes, large masterplans and transport infrastructure for energy-related projects.

The main purpose of this role is to effectively deliver an integrated service on a prominent highways project in the South West.  You will act as project manager for my client on the Framework as well as taking a key role on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, running the day to day administration of environmental planning inputs and liaising with the wider design team on both EIA and non EIA schemes.  You will also coordinate technical input from across the group ensuring bids and deliverables meet the client’s expectations.

You will be involved with business development and assisting with development of graduates and experienced consultants and engineers by providing guidance in their development of EIA knowledge and expertise.

Ideally You Will Have The Following

You will have a degree in Geology, Environmental Science or another relevant subject and experience of highways projects including working with Highways England. A second degree in Environmental Impact Assessment would be desirable along with full membership of the IEMA.

Location

Central Bristol

The position is based in Bristol but will involve periods working in other offices, therefore a valid driving license and access to a vehicle insured for business use are required along with a willingness to travel.

Rewards & Benefits

My client offers a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package, also offering professional development training and excellent prospects for career progression.  They have an in-house Training Academy with the purpose of “providing opportunities for growth and development”.

Even if you are cautiously looking, I would recommend a discreet conversation to find out more about the firm and the role.
