Business Development Manager

UNYFI are an intermediary/broker providing solutions to businesses in 3 areas - merchant services (card payments), waste management and energy procurement.

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, ambitious, B2B Business Development Manager to help businesses implement superior solutions and drive down their costs in the aforementioned areas.

Due to our unique business model, the company generates multiple revenue streams per customer meaning that you can earn multiple commissions per business. There is no commission cap and therefore scope for a tried and tested salesperson to apply their experience and take their earnings to the next level.

It is crucial that individuals only apply if they are an ability to self-manage, independently prospect and are money motivated. You will get out what you put into this role. Resilience is a must as the role is challenging but rewarding.

You will receive full sales training on the products and services that the company provides to clients.

This is a full time, permanent role based in Bristol. 37.5 hrs per week. If you are based in a surrounding locality (South Wales, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire etc.) we will also consider your application.

Key Duties

• Independent, proactive outbound prospecting via cold calling.
• Targeting high turnover companies, large producers of waste and high energy consuming companies.
• Closing sales from leads that you have generated yourself or that have been provided to you by the company
• Cross selling to your own client portfolio
• Visiting clients to qualify and to close in person
• Sales process management
• Pipeline management

Essential Skills / Abilities

• B2b sales experience is essential (Experience in our sectors is not essential)
• Outbound prospecting / cold calling experience
• Ability to sell in a consultative manner
• Must have valid UK Driving License and a car
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Out the box thinking


• £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) – OTE £50,000 + year (realistic)
