Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Planner to join their Complex Infrastructure team. You will play a critical role in the planning and execution of large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects in transportation, urban development, and critical infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of projects through effective schedule management, resource planning, and performance analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Schedule Development: Create and maintain baseline project schedules, defining critical paths, milestones, and work breakdown structures (WBS).

·       Interactive Planning: Lead interactive planning workshops, ensuring robust and realistic schedules based on best practices and benchmarking data.

·       Schedule Integrity: Align schedules with project deliverables, execution strategies, and contractual requirements.

·       Progress Monitoring: Update schedules, validate progress, and ensure schedule accuracy in line with complex infrastructure project requirements.

·       Variance Analysis: Identify and analyze variances, reporting key performance metrics such as Earned Value (EV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI).

·       Resource Planning: Define and track resource allocation and man-hours, ensuring alignment with cost controls.

·       Reporting & Communication: Generate detailed project reports, trending charts, and schedule analyses. Lead progress updates and stakeholder communications.

 

Skills & Experience

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

·       Experience with project planning software, preferably Primavera P6.

·       Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., critical path method, earned value analysis).

·       Background in project planning, analysis, and reporting within the transportation, urban development, or infrastructure sectors.

·       Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline management.

·       Strong report writing, presentation, and communication skills.

·       Proven ability to lead meetings and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
