About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Urban Designer to join a growing team in London. This role has become available due to an influx of new projects, and we are ideally seeking a candidate who can start immediately. However, we are open to considering professionals with a notice period.

Key Responsibilities

*

Collaborate with architects, planners, and developers to deliver high-quality urban design solutions.
*

Develop masterplans, feasibility studies, and design strategies for residential and mixed-use projects.
*

Produce high-quality design documents, reports, and presentations.
*

Engage with stakeholders, including clients and local authorities, to ensure projects align with planning policies and community needs.
*

Contribute to design workshops and team discussions, offering innovative ideas and solutions.

Key Requirements

*

Minimum 2+ years of UK-based experience in an architectural practice, focusing on residential/mixed-use projects for national housebuilders or housing developers.
*

A recognised Urban Design qualification.
*

Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong hand-drawing ability.
*

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
*

Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and/or SketchUp rendering/visualisation packages.
