One of our clients is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee multiple active project sites (3–4 concurrently) across the South Region. The role involves supervision of direct staff and subcontractors, planning, commissioning, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and schedule directly employed electricians and technicians.
· Manage and coordinate subcontractors across electrical, automation, and civil disciplines.
· Oversee installation of:
· Control Panels
· Back-Up Generators
· UPS Systems
· Power Factor Correction Units
· Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
· Associated cabling and containment
· Commission equipment with a focus on MCCs, VSDs, and instrumentation.
· Manage site logistics, including:
· Material take-offs
· Procurement of consumables and electrical sundries
· Resource and work planning
· Site set-up and mobilisation
· Implement site Health & Safety requirements:
· Conduct inductions and Tool-Box Talks
· Deliver and manage RAMS
· Manage and update H&S documentation
· Issue and control Permits to Work
· Ensure all site installations meet quality and safety standards:
· Tidy, accessible, and safe equipment fitting
· Compliance with CSL and Client safety protocols
· Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and Client Representatives to ensure alignment and compliance.
· Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and templates with high attention to detail.
· Build and maintain effective communication with Client Resident Engineers and Plant Operators.
Requirements:
· Proven supervisory experience on electrical installation projects.
· Strong commissioning experience (MCCs, VSDs, instrumentation).
· Ability to manage multiple live sites independently.
· Excellent understanding of H&S protocols and site compliance.
· Technical proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
· Strong organisational and planning skills.
· Full, clean driving license (regional travel required).
