I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager (Water Industry) for a well-established and growing company in the water industry, based in Carlow, for a full-time, permanent position.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation delivering key water infrastructure projects across Ireland.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead and manage full project lifecycles: design, procurement, delivery, and handover.

·        Develop preliminary and detailed designs, technical documentation, and calculations.

·        Interpret contract documentation and ensure full understanding across assigned projects.

·        Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

·        Prepare and manage technical submissions, reports, and project programs.

·        Monitor progress against contract schedules and manage project budgets.

·        Coordinate site activities, including supervision of staff and subcontractors.

·        Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including site safety files.

·        Oversee quality control processes and maintain accurate project documentation.

·        Compile O&M manuals and manage variation/change order logs.

 

Requirements:

·        Minimum 10 years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a strong background in Project Engineering.

·        Experience in the water/wastewater sector is highly desirable.

·        Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to update construction drawings.

·        Solid knowledge of plant design, construction, and commissioning.

·        Proven ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Strong technical and commercial acumen.

·        Willingness to travel for frequent site visits as required.
